Same. I either try my best to please others or express my hate in an extreme way(like deleting their contact). It's hard for me to find a balance. I think maybe trying not to care other's feelings works sometimes(シ\_ \_)シ

I try to tell myself « are your words making things better and the conversation more interesting ? » before I speak. I don’t succeed always not to overshare but it helps me to not telling everything I want to tell… I have also learned to say « no » for things I REALLY don’t want to do. I prefer managed a little guilt than to managed being overwhelmed by energy burst on people pleasing.

Thank you for sharing , I have been working with acceptance and learned alot about adhd for about a year now. I will check out that podcast, tnx. 💃 well, I will try not to worry about what other people think.

The things that helped me most with acceptance is this app and this podcast: https://open.spotify.com/show/2oYZwGakl7shJFG0lJ8JMt?si=\_ZfIlMzvTKOdMxrWEdONig

So my first question to you would be: do you maybe overshare because you have a lifetime of people telling you you are too much or changing your mind or being too emotional? Well I had that and I did overshare as well. I wanted so bad to be accepted or be „normal“. What worked for me is learning to accept that I’m different. I’m still working on it and it takes time but it feels so much better.

It is ok to overshare. In my case I needed some sort of control of my environment. I did that by creating connection because otherwise I was lost in a perceived hostile environment. In my experience working on making yourself feel more comfortable will do the trick automatically. You are ok the way you are!
