Do people find Alcohol makes the symptoms of ADHD worse, better or no different. I’m fi ding lately when I drink (doesn’t need to be much) I over think even more than usual and get sad.

Alcohol makes me less focused but at the same time more concerned about little unnecessary things. Also, I don’t find it useful for socialising: I am super silly when I am drunk, so I tend to avoid it

One of the reasons I decided to become alcohol free was because I felt my symptoms were getting out of control

For me it makes my symptoms worse. Last time I had alcohol I couldn't focus on any conversation anymore and my head was jumping around like crazy.

I've definitely noticed when I'm not taking my meds I drink more in order to cope. Not a lot, not more than a couple beers a day, but a beer before / during a "big" task (dishes, cooking, etc) helps me get through it.
