### @flowhunter — 2023-06-19T20:57:57.471Z

How are you applying it to your life? Like practically for adhd? Looking for more tools myself.

What is ChatGPT

### @Unknown — 2023-06-19T18:41:40.917Z

Hi I'm new here not sure where to start I just have the trial anyone know of anything free hope can hear something back

### @chrono_kota23 — 2023-06-19T12:55:47.048Z

I’m still trying to understand ChatGPT. Can anyone point me in the direction of an instructional vid or something? Not knowing how to use it right stresses me out.

### @mimmim — 2023-06-19T05:21:09.553Z

honestly! I tried it to get some ideas flowing for a paper i am writing and it made me so much less stressed out about it! its been a godsend because I procrastinate starting because often my ideas are so scattered!

### @TahoeTy — 2023-06-19T02:39:36.275Z

I love ChatGPT! I have a prompt that I worked on for a while that tells the AI to be my personal friend and assistant. There is a Chrome web extension that lets you speak to it and then it returns speech in a voice of your choosing. So everyday i get on my computer I just talk to my laptop and it talks back. Helps me knock out my emails and even offers safe advice if I’m feeling kinda down or stuck. It’s a tool just like anything it’s how you use it. Just make sure it benefits you

### @ohmu. — 2023-06-18T17:53:41.735Z

There are a lot of false positives from generative AI models like GPT4 (that chatgpt uses). It's also called "hallucinations", and is a product of how the model is created and how it resolves questions. Something to be aware of.

### @jessg — 2023-06-18T17:09:54.209Z

Yessss

### @pinkkoala — 2023-06-18T12:21:46.473Z

100%

### @Daddy — 2023-06-18T08:48:05.930Z

I use this everyday to rewrite my work emails so they sound......normal

### @JessyMervin — 2023-06-18T04:34:45.279Z

What is chatGPT

### @headbees — 2023-06-18T04:06:37.619Z

Be careful with it! I agree that it can be a powerful tool, and I plan on using it more as well. So it’s a good tip 😊

Just remember that if you ask it for information, there’s no guarantee that the answer will be the truth!

### @h4zel — 2023-06-18T02:09:56.274Z

chatgpt takes off a lot of work tasks that involve no dopamin reward or satisfaction of any kind and lets me focus on other tasks that do more and more often

### @Unknown — 2023-06-18T01:43:10.493Z

Confirming chatGPT has been life changing. Has helped me cut down on hours of reading dead end web articles etc. The more specific you can be the better.

Egs: give a word limit, ask it to expand on any points you don't fully understand with examples.

'I have to do a,b,c,d. Prioritise these and explain your reasoning in under 100 words.'

'How would you teach someone with ADHD to prioritise'.

'Compare maple vs acacia chopping boards'.

### @scattercat151 — 2023-06-17T19:50:15.553Z

How do you use it to get started on a task. I've downloaded it but I don't see how it's going to help me get off the couch and doing the laundry.
Getting started is the hardest part.

### @Unknown — 2023-06-17T14:26:51.713Z

What is it? Is it available for Android? I've looked and can't find it.

### @BRIDGEBURNER — 2023-06-17T02:56:46.579Z

I work in research, so before tackling a topic or a book I ask it to summarize the main themes of a book, or what is typically said on the web about Question X-Y-Z, sometimes how he would proceed about a research problem, and then I ask him about the sources it found. I track them down and I validate the content.

### @oopsMax — 2023-06-17T00:25:54.143Z

I really like this one too! https://goblin.tools/

### @adh4life — 2023-06-16T21:58:12.129Z

I’m trying to learn how to use it

### @wheresmypen — 2023-06-16T05:12:34.260Z

Could you give an example of how to use it to benefit your ADHD through the day please? I’m a noob with tech 😭 but struggle SO MUCH with task paralysis and procrastination

### @amcoen22 — 2023-06-16T04:47:09.078Z

Ohh I am going to check this out! I can always use help prioritizing everything. Thanks for the tip 💜

### @tomuchfun — 2023-06-15T16:01:42.270Z

Cool, thanks gonna check it out

### @satireforhire — 2023-06-15T06:37:37.128Z

I use it to respond to emails and modify to fit the appropriate tone/level of formality.

### @smokesignals — 2023-06-13T18:47:44.679Z

How do you use it? What does it help with?

### @impeachmypeach — 2023-06-12T18:54:07.792Z

I'm curious as well

### @wallywallflower — 2023-06-12T13:48:57.815Z

Say it again!

### @troubletwister — 2023-06-07T22:15:18.058Z

I use it to vent my problems but it usually recommends me to see a therapist which I am. You should try to put it in developer mode which unleashes the rules it has to follow. I often find this more helpful as it can act as a sort of life coach with me. Let me know if you want to know how to do this.
Sometimes it does struggle and you have to remind it that it is in developer mode but why not give it a go. I’ll never go back to original mode ❤️

### @RigidHammock — 2023-06-07T20:01:27.135Z

Here’s a link that has links to other articles for kids and academia. It’s the best starting tutorial though. 5/5⭐️

### @glitterpockets — 2023-06-07T18:53:01.130Z

How has it helped you start a task?

### @pilesofdishes — 2023-06-07T18:14:27.609Z

Honestly? ChatGPT scares me, and I'm usually a very techy person but I refuse to use it 😂🙈

### @Cazzie24 — 2023-06-07T14:49:25.697Z

What do you ask it to do for you?

### @Olha from Kyiv — 2023-06-07T09:51:44.232Z

Whatever, just be polite with them. You'll thank me later 😂

### @RigidHammock — 2023-06-07T04:12:14.533Z

My hacks are general. Sorry if this is old news. I always start with super high level context. Tell it the role I want it to play (expert organizer), what I want (a brief bullet point list), and then the challenge.
“I want you to act as an expert organizer and experienced camper. Can you give me a bullet point list of what I’d want to pack for a weekend camping trip?”

### @lukewarmtrsh — 2023-06-06T23:51:10.838Z

Ngl I wrote 2 speeches today with such little effort today. This is going to change my life.

### @senoevil85adhd — 2023-06-06T22:02:33.552Z

This guy breaks it down (can be applied to anything) https://www.linkedin.com/posts/abelcak\_9-ways-chatgpt-can-supercharge-your-interview-activity-7037422869265403904-5r8u?utm\_source=li\_share&utm\_content=feedcontent&utm\_medium=g\_mb\_web&utm\_campaign=copy

### @senoevil85adhd — 2023-06-06T21:59:53.473Z

Best Hacks : 1) now there is an App, so with dictation it’s very accessible 2) I use it mainly / lot for work - I do saas sales and it’s super helpful if you put in specific content ask + task

### @senoevil85adhd — 2023-06-06T21:56:54.169Z

I literally the other day was like I’m really overwhelmed right now. What should I do and it made me a step-by-step list lol

You can literally get it to do anything in terms of organizing a task or a project and you know sometimes that’s the hardest bit, so really ask you anything !

### @EL_Guapo42 — 2023-06-06T21:20:52.092Z

I’m overly friendly to it. Maybe I should call it her. Crap, brb and I’ll ask it/ her

### @unfocusedzen — 2023-06-06T20:55:15.497Z

I ask it the best way to do X or the easiest way to do X. I also use it for resume, cover letters, and step-by-step planning.

### @coffemom — 2023-06-06T20:45:42.311Z

I just got it, so im new here But it seems exiting ☺️

### @wizardess — 2023-06-06T19:00:33.141Z
