As someone with ADHD, I've found that negative self-talk can be a major obstacle to getting things done. Instead, I've learned to use positive self-talk to motivate myself and stay focused. When I start to feel overwhelmed or distracted, I remind myself of my strengths and past successes. I tell myself that I can do this and that I'm capable of achieving my goals. This shift in mindset has made a big difference in my ability to stay productive and manage my symptoms.
