So, I work as a behavior therapist and i visit my client at their center. All the kids are small so they cry a lot( especially at the end of my shift), it’s very much like a domino effect. I never thought about how draining that is, nor have I been in such a setting. But at the end of the my time their I’m exhausted. Ive hear of people with adhd seeing and feeling more, but Is this something anyone else has felt?

I'm like a sponge for other people's emotions. I also struggle with noise sensitivity

Everyday, mentally drained. Then physically drained at the end of the day. Terrible night sleep. Rinse and repeat.

Yes. We are classified as “sensitives” in the spiritual/metaphysical community. Problem for me is I get a dopamine hit when I help someone in that way but when it’s done I’m so drained and can end up burnt out.
