# No reward, no can do

Anybody else feel like a task is daunting if there is no reward after? I usually get myself a treat like Starbucks for doing things like going to the doctor but I know I can’t do that with everything and thats why nothing gets done!

I work with kids doing behavior therapy and it’s been my experience that praise usually beats material rewards. Hope that helps.

Try to focus on the dopamine?? It helps me to know I'm boosting my resilience every time I check something off.
