BMSR is out, so focus on physical sensations.
And then: Zoom out, look at the situation as if it concerned a friend you're supposed to give advice to.
And otherwise, an honest focus on the things you can influence about it.

Exercising always gets you out of overthinking.

Or also : try to write your feelings / looping thoughts (just did that myself 😅 it really, really felt good ; never take the time but definitely should !…)

I talk it out to myself with coffee shop ambiance noise in the background. Like I’m having a conversation with myself, and let my mind naturally flow that way.

I struggle with the same, doesn’t make it easier since I work from home and spent 9+ hrs alone.

You can try focusing on deep breathing for 3 cycles ; breathe in counting to 5, hold your breath counting to 4, breathe out counting to 7 ; repeat at least twice.
You can also do squats or jumping jacks or run around a little.
The key is to feel your body…
Hope this helps

Try going out or talking to someone or both.
