Are there others who postpone grocery shopping because it just feels like climbing mountains? The sound, the people, smells, information and everything just give me a sensory overload 😳

Yes, especially CVS lol

Yes! Especially with a 4 year old I do mostly curbside pickups. But even the app shopping sometimes takes way too long bc there are more options than in store.

Yes I’ve stopped bringing my 5 kids for this reason. Plus they’re dad has spoiled them and now they think they need a treat every single time they go 😳

Yes, especially going to Costco…on the weekend….with family! 😬

Yes. I go to farmers markets and small stores!

YES! I’m like this with anything in which there will be crowds of any sort.

I hate it because my fridge is always empty and I end up just ordering food.

A few ways I’ve been battling this is:
- gamify it: I time box and then pretend it’s all a giant video game that I have to dodge other people in. (I know dorky)

- I’ll make it an outing with my wife…grocery shopping, very romantic.

The odd thing for me is that I wasn’t like this growing up. I used to enjoy going out. Then after the great barricading in of 2020 it was like I turned into a hermit and can’t get out from under my rock.
