How to get motivation for a must-do task (task called painting… ugh)??

Can you come up with some decent splurge reward that you can reasonably afford and want badly enough that you would do the offensive procrastination inducing chore?  
I hope so.     I have expensive taste and poor motivation on certain tasks.    Rough combo
