I’ve tried a few apps for focus. My favorite is called Opal (not paid by them- any lock out app will work) It locks out all my social media so that when I’m tempted to get on TikTok or Insta, I can’t and it’s too much work to take the lock off.

Freedom is the best lock out app I’ve tried. It uses a vpn to prevent you from opening apps and websites you choose, or you can block all internet traffic.

If you have an iPhone which can run iOS 16, you can use a combination of the focus features and screen time to manage things. Now you can actually change what apps appear on your home screen for each different focus, so it can also take the visual stimulus away. You can also get any Apple device to read the screen for you if that helps with reading big documents etc
