I go to bed quite early but then can’t make myself settle until I’ve played 50 million games and listened to an audio book!

Here’s a hack that gets me sleeping in ten minutes… got to YouTube and search bedtime stories for adults then place your phone under your pillow. I swear on this I never stay awake to listen to the whole story. If this doesn’t work you can also try white noise.

Routine and setting up the right conditions helped me get to sleep, me aiming for 9-10pm bedtime lower lights and temperature after 7pm, in bed at 8am with as much do before getting in bed so have no reason to get up, lower volume after 9 if still awake, at first real feeling of tried, turn off devices and try to sleep, originally I had a lot of alarms to remind me what to do at different times at nite, took a few years but now I can get to sleep, and get 8-9 hour in 9 out of ten nites

I found anxiety meds to help calm my brain. Also no electronics two hours before bed and setting a routine up has helped. Lay in bed reading a physical form of a book and at specific time, lights out every night.
