How does anyone jot lose everything they touch

I regularly take my keys, make my way to the car, realize I forgot something, go get it, make it to the car only to notice that the car keys are not on me anymore… so many more scenarios I could describe, but in short: I sometimes think my super power could be more useful than losing things within seconds and going crazy looking for them, because it feels like they just vanished.  
I find most of my stuff when Im cleaning and one of my car keys turned up a year after it first went missing when I moved and the cabinet was pulled away from the wall.

I have a box i put my keys and wallet by the door when i get home. And my bags i use that day are on the same table. Looks messy but it works
