it is so flustrating when they don’t understand the struggle of adhd and being on the inattentive side. they think i just don’t care about anything or anyone when it’s just my brain struggling with everything around me. i love my friends but they think im “turning into a bad person” and its making feel like i am

Do you have neurodivergent friends? Also does this happen for specific instances? Like was it someone’s birthday? Or are you forgetting to answer texts? What is the context?

In short… We are doing more work than them but they’re getting more things done. it’s terrible.

that’s so annoying and frustrating omfg. this reminds me of a song lyric from my fav band it’s “you wanna move mountains? well, i do too…” when everyone thinks ur just sitting around!!!! ughhh. like… we’re working harder on the inside and they’re just successful without trying
