# Having trouble getting rid of things

Here are some questions I like to ask myself when I’m trying to get rid of things…  
1. Do I want it?  
2. Do I need it?  
3. Does it bring me joy?  
4. Have I used it within the past 6 months?

If the answer is no to most or all of these questions then you should get rid of it.

And when I’m still indecisive, my wife taught me to take a picture of it and get rid of it. That gives me either the sentimental connection or the model to repurchase later.
