I see myself as me, my brain (aka subconsciousness/ADHD) and my body.
Many neurotypical people find it strange when I say my brain wants x but it’s the best I can describe what happens and I want to know if many of y‘all also have that

I probably do something similar but I’m unsure. lol

I look at each separately and as a whole. I also name my disorders. My depression is Bruno. My negative self-talk is Chatty Cathy. My ADHD is too much a part of everything to have a name, so I sometimes just think of it as 80-HD because my son loves Dogman.

I don’t talk about Bruno.

Something similar happens to me, I can’t see what I look like in my head, I look way different in my head than I do in body, and I get like way depressed bc of it 😭

my favourite question from my therapist is “where do you feel this feeling in your body?” and I am like 😵‍💫🤯😬😅
