Ever since I first stepped on the little stage of my preschool’s run-down theatre for a talent show, I knew I wanted to be a performer. I begged my parents to allow me to learn ballet after watching Barbie and the Pink Shoes with the shining ballet scenes inspired by the well-known classics. 

Well, now I’m here! I feel like I finally have a chance to become someone I feel I’m meant to be. I’ve packed my bags and moved to the city, auditioning at many odd studios and finding my place at a ballet conservatory. Everyone is so kind, and it’s starting to feel like family. This summer, I’m hoping to take a summer intensive in both ballet and lyra (the circus arial hoop) as well!

Let’s create a space where we can encourage each other on our journeys to our goals here! Is anyone up for a new group or some friends to keep each other accountable? 💖
