I got diagnosed recently and I am doubting my diagnosis.

Although I passed all the adhd assessments and loads of things in my past and present made sense after the diagnosis. I don't have it severe, I learned how to manage it and assess it in many ways.

And the one thing that made me doubt it the most is my family history. I don't think anyone in my family got it. Or they mask it so well, I have no idea which I doubt.

Surprisingly in my assessment no one asked me about my family history. The only thing they asked if there is a history of addictions etc.

So the question is: Is there anyone who has a similar situation?

(dog here to draw your attention, isn't she adorbs)

I wasn’t asked about family history. My dad was interviewed, but my psych focused entirely on me — old school reports were the main thing that sealed it for her.
