I am guilty. I have considered putting a blocker on my phone to only allow so much distraction.

If you expect productivity from yourself 100% of the time, you are setting yourself up for failure. Give yourself some wiggle-room to be in "lazy mode" during specific time periods in the day. That way, when you are doing deep focused work, you will have a sense of when to stop working and give yourself a break.
