Dissociation

How many of us dissociate because we are distracted from ADHD, which really for me would be more hyper focus, or are dissociating to stay out of our head because of trauma? I do both. The bad thing is that the CPTSD and the ADHD combined make it hell for me not to constantly feel like I’m on the verge of losing it. It is a very delicate tightrope I walk and I don’t have time to deal with the stress and anxiety and still accomplish anything! Any ideas?

I'm right there with you I was diagnosed at 35 and all of a sudden my entire life made sense and being on this discovery path I realized how much I dissociate and it's hard for me to grasp but feeling my feelings is almost impossible I'm an empath and man it can literally consume me and take me down I also would love any advice on how to better cope I wish I had some for you but if I think of anything I'll post thanks for the great topic!
