ADHD meds

So I’m on a couple different medications for my adhd and bipolar depression. But I have found that taking them have made my stomach so sensitive. If I don’t take my meds when I first wake up and eat something with it right away, my stomach is messed up for the whole day. I’ll either that a very small window of time that I’m actually hungry and as soon as that window closes, I’m nauseous for the rest of the day, OR I take my meds in the morning and then I can’t even think about food for the entire day. Does anyone have advice so that my meds aren’t ruining the whole day if I mess up my schedule and forget to eat?

Choose what will help the fastest /easiest food wise to prevent nausea , like a pack of XYZ. ( jimmy dean sausage biscuits are what I’ve been doing w coffee then AM meds shortly after) keep granola bars or nutrigrain bars on hand or some Tiny v-8 drinks or muscle milks etc

Something from the real appeal food program from work that helps me is a tip of plan for curve balls ( getting stuck in traffic but having a sack of protein containing nuts/trail mix or walking around with oranges in your purse it keeps me away from fast food,… more recently I had issues with meds sending me to the restroom and trying the beneful probiotics helped, I switched to night med recently and think it’s helped me get energy to get active in the am, instead of waiting til noon to remember to do the chore of meds/eating, it took me a year and then some to find the right meds w my psychiatrist

I’m dealing with the same thing. My meds keep getting changed or the changed by dosage still working through trial and errors. I actually got sick yesterday from not eating. I found eating dry foods was my best bet. Things I could have sit out and pick away at. Popcorn, crackers, chips, granola bars, mini muffins. Vitamins might also be beneficial to look into. Staying hydrated is super important too. I’ve started drinking the odd vitamin waters and protein mixes for drinks and smoothies. I hope these help! I know the feeling all too well ❤️
