Sudden ADHD

I’ve never had problems with ADHD and anxiety until after abusing opiates. Did the drug abuse mess up my brain chemistry?

yeah probably:( id look into SSRIS see if they work for you to help rebalance that dopamine and serotonin

Could it have developed bad triggers for your anxiety? And if so anxiety worsens our Adhd. Just a thought

ahhh i think this is more to do w dopamine and/or serotonin receptors getting too used to being overloaded, so it takes way more stimulation to get them going than it used to :x basically internal feelings like satisfaction in a job well done aren’t a big enough reward to get the brain and body moving :/ hopefully you’ll even out with reduced substance use over time, it’s just a long and stressful process :’c i wish you the best and i hope our tips and tricks are helpful!!! 💟💟💟
