Divergent love
Do you think it is possible for a neuro-divergent person to have a fulfilling, healthy relationship with a neuro-typical person? I'm afraid that I have such intense emotions, especially when it comes to matters of the heart, that it's simply impossible for a neuro-typical person to match those feelings. So I end up emotionally starving, or they end up overwhelmed, or my rsd kicks in and I simply set fire to the whole thing (Metaphorically speaking, of course)... Any thoughts? Has there been any research in this domain?

My wife and I are polar opposites. We do tend to find common ground but it’s not easy. This year we’ve been married for 30 years. We were friends before we married and had kids after being married for about 9 years. She’s pretty patient with me and my half finished projects. She had some health issues recently (Vestibular Migraines) for about the last three years which she’s finally coming out of. But it’s left her to deal with mental issues similar to PTSD and ADHD. Having gone through that we’re both like “it is what it is” and just try to deal things that come up each day. But she still rolls her eyes when she points to my half finished project and me looking the other way🙂.
