That’s a great detailed photo of the dude/dudette! I’m cool with grasshoppers and crickets as long as they aren’t jumping towards me.

I think that is a female cuz of the big body and small legs. Male have mostly small body and large legs and the sounds a lot with noice from their legs cuz that’s the way they make the female ones to get in love with them and make baby crickets 👻 (but they lay eggs not make babys of course 😜😜😜)
