missmadisonför 3 år sedan So this is going to sound silly, but I found a few variations on 50s-ish housekeeping routines and they were a good baseline for building a cleaning/tidying routine. Of course, it’s important to reduce the task list (1) because you have more to do than just clean your home all day (2) having an overwhelmingly long list of tasks upsets our adhd brains.
That’s really the best I can suggest bc I’m still trying to figure this out myself.
I took a week (a while ago) to Mari Condo organize my home so 90% of household items have a specific place. It makes tidying easier now (as long as I practice completely putting things back).
