Has anyone else here used Ritalin? In Norway you have to start with it, and at first I thought it was helping a lot until I realized that it is making my anxiety sooo much worse. To the point where I wasn't able to go back to work.

I started with Ritalin and it made me speed up way too much as it worse off! Dex is smoother
I just got switched to Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine dimesylate) after taking amphetamine based meds for over ten years. It seems to be helping full down some of the time blindness and confusion. It’s still got some not great interactions with depression, but in me it hasn’t increased depression or anxiety. I take meds for both depression and anxiety too. I think it takes a while of various drug combos, and sometimes that combo stops working and you need to readjust or try something new.
I’ve been taking Ritalin for a while but it doesn’t seem to exist in pharmacies at the moment, which has been detrimental. I don’t think it’s the best fit for me but it’s better than Adderall 🤷🏻♀️
No, but i am on Adderall. I find it does increase my insomnia and irritability. I'm working on getting off because I've seen people make it work without medication but I'm not there yet. I'm hoping once I increase my exercise habits it might be doable. I haven't tried Ritalin so this probably isn't much help, sorry! 💚
I recently stopped taking it. I find it helps but then it can also be very hit and miss and make me agitated. 6 weeks off it now.
