Money stuff!?

Hi all! So, 2 questions... 1) how do you get yourself to open the mail... 2) what kind of system do you use for managing bills/financial anything?

Opening the mail is a hard one for me too, as it's often just another reminder of my "failures" at adulting in a neurotypical world. I am interested in the suggestions others hVe fir this. There was a suggestion in the tips/hacks section about using a color coded google calendar for all bills that I'm working on this week. Otherwise, I am constantly behind on bills and just can't seem to function financially like neurotypical people do with ease. 🤦‍♀️

Put mine next to my bed so I have to see it. I make a lot of lists; Income, overhead, debt, needs, wants, savings..... but I'm I'm going to look into an app cuz I tend to loose my lists lol

Keep a nice letter opener on hand. Make rule to open the first time you hold an envelope.

I use a app for my financials. Without this app I would have no clue on where my moneys goes 😂 I can set budgets for every part of my life and it reminds me of how much money I have left to spend. Also it analysts on what I spend my money and give me Charts of that, so I am able to become aware of it. Using an app for money stuff really was a game changer for me 💸

Sometimes I allow myself to just open it and sort it but not have to process it all right away. It gets one step out of the way and gets me into it. The trick is, finding some hack to get you to actually dealing with the paperwork. Dunno if that helps or not. Lol
