Weed and ADHD
I don’t take meds I self medicate with marijuana now. I was prescribed everything from Strattera to Vyvanse in grade school but stopped taking it once I got to college. Now, I’m having to stop smoking. Any advice?

Interesting. As we got scientific proof of the negative impacts of THC on neural systems, I would not touch it ever in my life.
I medicate with cannabis for epilepsy, and unknowingly for undiagnosed adhd as well. Started adhd med and feel less inclined or enthusiastic about cannabis. I’ve moved from dry vaping .15 grams- .10- now .5grams. I still want to use in some form as it has put a halt to my seizure, inshallah. Learning (not turning a blind eye to/) about psychosis associated with cannabis use has also been a motivator.
I self medicate too in addition to taking my meds I haven’t found the right combination that works for me yet but see if you can find a psychiatrist who specializes in adhd. My psych does and it makes a huge difference
I also self medicate with marijuana, but if I had to stop I would drink a lot of herbal teas like lemon balm for the soothing effects and I would go super easy on myself during the transition. You’ll likely begin to feel more clear-headed really soon, though!
Exercise, super clean diet, herbal supplements, nature connection and talk therapy..... also Numo helps a lot with my daily quality of life because it helps organize my brain and tackle any emotional barriers that tend to send me into triggered states....
I have a similar experience , working collaboratively and flowing between multiple disciplines helps me / smoke weed everyday :)
