I was diagnosed at 25, but heard these all my life. The signs were definitely there but never thought about it, till one day I got depression and went to a psychiatrist that helped me finally understand and see it. I still get bad days but now I at least feel validated.

Yes! I “lived” in my own little world! It was a great place, LOL! I went to school before ADHD was a “thing”. So I just didn’t pay attention, was not focused, got distracted, talked a lot, etc. it was SO frustrating!
For sure. I was diagnosed at 26 and always heard growing up that I had “so much potential” if I’d just “put in some effort” 😔
