I live in a two story basement apartment in a big city with five girls. However, I want t get a pet. I can’t have a dog or cat, so then what else do you think would help with my depression and anxiety?

Fish are great to watch for relaxation! I adopted a ball python (long story) 15+ years ago and when I overheat or feel anxious I put him on my shoulders. His pulsing and heat draining ability REALLY helps😅😆***not for everyone*** but I’ve even read about them being “prescribed” to people for anxiety relief-the irony is not lost on me 🫨😆

If you're allowed to have a fish tank, the water sounds can be relaxing and fish swimming around is visually stimulating
