I think the best solution is a smart lock, haven’t being able to buy it yet, it can be a bit pricey

Yes I’ve been there. Do you have a lock box you can place somewhere with a code and a spare key inside?

I did the same stunt years ago, 10th floor, I went out through the window in the hallway and got in through the balcony like Mission Impossible, so reckless. And recently, I learnt how to open my front door with a pair of credit cards. So I guess I’m ready for the thug life. The shame was bigger than good judgment.
