Exhausted not being productive today and I need to make progress.

I’m waiting to hear back on advice on the next step of a project. Im just having a hard time transitioning my focus and energy into the other things I need to do . All I want to do is sleep, but if I do that, I won’t have my food prep for tomorrow, clothes washed groceries ect ect. I tried to nap, but it’s not working. I would need like a three hour nap just to have time to fall asleep and motivate to get back out the bed. 😞

It sounds like an ADHD burnout due to hyper focusing on one task for too long. They suck. I'm still looking for tips on how to deal with them. The research I've found so far is to accept it, and ride it out. I do not have time for that. I'm sorry I don't have much to offer other than awareness.

Thanks will do. My headphones are finally finish charging. That’s another thing that slowed me down. I usually wear headphones in the house to keep me focused.

Try listening to an audiobook on your phone while you do your tasks- that kind of distraction helps with transitions. I need to do that all the time. I’d say movie but you’ll prob want to just sit down and watch it and that won’t help!
