Correlation between ASD and ADHD

After reading the newest DSM-5 I have a theory that a lot more people than we previously thought will be on the spectrum or be diagnosed with ASD (Autism). Through genetics and environment each person will cope with being autistic in a different way, each exhibiting signs varying in intensity and degree of ADHD, OCD, PTSD, and many other mental illnesses. My theory is that these are the “symptoms” that manifest uniquely in each individual depending on their own personality and life events.
