Pretty stuff = Motivation? 🤔

I find that if I buy a boring to do list and a cheap crappy pen I will not want to use it and write a list. So I have started allowing myself to buy a nice pen and a nice pretty to do list (that I use in conjunction with this app of course!) so that I actually get things done. I found my motivation to actually use the pen and to do list increased a crazy amount once I got the pretty nice ones! Let me know if you guys do this too or if it is just me. Haha.

Absolutely. It’s the same reason I have the best workouts when I have cute new clothes!

I’ve had a really rough time with work. Can’t seem to manage details until they are problems. Lost a good job after 5 yrs and discovered that ADHD is a real thing. Any system is better than none. Start simple and keep it up colors are wonderful and helpful. Just get started and stick with it!

Can relate. I found a brand of colorful pens I really like. They’re called ooly. So many colors, my to do list is so much fun now.

i recently go into digital stationery , and its audhd heaven for me! i get so giddy when i can journal about anything and everything, just cus i can make it look cute and pretty

I do this, and get all excited in the shop dreaming about how this is going to be the breakthrough and then end up forgetting I even bought them… I do make lists, though! With whatever’s lying around 🤦🏻‍♀️
