My dads are gay (obviously cuz they are not my mom and dad) and we are farmers (one of my dad, the other one works with paper and stuff). It’s so stereotypical that there favorite movie are “Brokeback mountain” And I can’t stand watching it with them cuz they - my dads/not the movie - gets really inappropriate to watch for kids - they are worse then two teenagers in love! 🤢🤮🤮🤮

I think they appreciate the movie because they feel seen. I like the movie too. It’s very romantic but very dramatic too. Maybe they get emotional when looking it because they feel lucky to have the opportunity to live their life as they want other than Ennis and Jack.
No i dont think that either. I just like tease my dads cuz they are so stereotypical. For farmer gay guys this movie is like titanic for a conservative straight couple and that’s like funny I think 🤣
