I like setting timers. I set a timer for x minutes and say “ok, in x minutes I’m gonna get up and do -something small- for 5 minutes “ When I completed that task. I stop and sit for another x minutes. Repeat. I find 15 minutes of rest and 5 minutes of work pretty easy. I can trick my brain by saying “it’s only 5 minutes, you can do anything for 5 minutes. And then you can rest again” I also have a couple friends that I “brag” to. So, I’ll tell them I’m having an off day. I tell them the small thing I want to get done. And then I send them a picture when I finished. And they tell me “yay”
I know that so good - sometimes you’re a superhero who can do 3 days of tasks in one and a day after you feel like the most unproductive person on the world.. I don’t really have a Tipp or hack for you, but I want to let you know, that I know exactly what you’re feeling and it’s not just you!! 🤗
