Hi there!

I’m newly diagnosed with ADHD and Autism, most of my adult life I’ve struggled with simple tasks. I’m hoping that this app will help. Thank you for your time and support!

I hope it helps you as well. I have not been diagnosed but I realize something is off with me compared to those around me so I figured I’d try this app and see if it helps. 5 days in and this has been one of my most productive weeks in a long long time so it’s a good start. Time will tell. That being said, I wish you the best

Welcome! I am not recently diagnosed but didn’t get diagnosed until I was adult. Things just seem to click 😜

I still feel like I don’t know who I am. I don’t know if that is because of *list of mental health issues* or because I’m a 40 year old widow with a 4 year old. There are still plenty of things I try to work on and somehow can’t seem to get right. When I said things just seem to click, I only meant that everything made sense. I have a PhD in self-diagnosing 😜 So, maybe things never really “click” for us neurospicy kiddos. Things will work and then they won’t. And that’s okay. You got this!!

Hi! Just wondering how long it took for things to click. I was self diagnosed Audhd for maybe a year now but formally got the diagnosis in June. Starting to feel a bit better but also still like I’m not sure now who I am and what I’m actually capable of.

Hello!! Thirty years ago I was diagnosed with dyspraxia. I’ve very recently learned I have more neurodivergent traits in ASD (Autism), ADHD and DLD (developmental language disorder) than dyspraxia. The loss of hormones from menopause is having a massive negative impact on my ADHD, ASD and DLD

Yep. 39 here but when my hormones changed after my second child was when my symptoms/ functioning/ masking abilities left me.

I too was diagnosed two months ago and am going through menopause. But I got medicated and the fog has lifted. It all makes sense now. I knew I was different than other kids and looking back always had it. The biggest thing was teachers would always say is “she has so much potential but doesn’t apply herself .”. Now with meds and this app I am finally getting my life together. I guess better late than never.

This is so common. The impact of hormonal decline on adhd is well known.

He takes a non-stimulant called Quillachew. He has been on it since he was about 6/7 (now 12). Even he realizes the effect and appreciates what it does for him. I must disclaim however, he is what most would consider high functioning on the Autism spectrum. So we don’t know what it might be like for your child. They may need a more stimulating approach. The good thing about the non-stims is that most if not all are safe if forgotten one day. We usually take a holiday from them about once a year or so. Just to give his body a rest and to help him maintain his sense of awareness in what they do for him. A hard lesson we are teaching him is that they don’t do the work for you (meds) they simply help your brain behave more like a neurotypical brain so that you can “get yourself together”

Are you willing to share if any meds have helped your son? I have a 5.5 year old who I’m wondering about medicating

Your life makes so much more sense when you’re diagnosed as AUDHD

It does! But how long did it take for you to settle into the new identity? Someone give me a road map (most ASD request ever 🤪😂🤦🏻‍♀️)

I also was newly diagnosed with ADHD and Autism!!! It was like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders because I finally had answers why simple things were so hard! This app has definitely helped me! I keep forgetting to use it 😂 but once I remember to come back it helps me get realigned again and everyone has such great tips and advice that work for them. I love this app!

Good for you! I’m similar., Got diagnosed a few years ago, but just starting to take it seriously. Apparently it’s a mild case, but it really impacts me.
