Maybe some content only people with ADHD can understand? Like the funny ones there. Just sharing your stories about adhd and I think people will resonate!❤️

So I only use Social Media for my Etsy shop, but I want to start using it more for showing people my life. I think that you should look at what some other people that seem like you post, and get ideas. But you should also personalize them. Like say you went camping, so you made a post with your campsite. Try adding some details about what makes the campsite special in the description or on the post itself. Just try and be you, get some inspiration from other people, and make sure you’re making your own content that feels good.

If you feel vulnerable sharing the real you, paradoxically you’re on the right track. Keeping up an online persona, that you’re not, adds up to a huge emotional brain drain, because you’re always on edge to keep up the facade. Being authentic, although scary at first, is the only way to make it a long term positive experience. By sharing a glimpse into your life, you will attract the crowd that resonates with your content. Interesting things that happen in the business (also honesty about boring or difficult things), mixed with more personal posts would be my strategy.

Just deleted a week ago all social media‘s accounts and that was the best decision so far for my mental health and adhs 💛

1000000% agree. Can bot agree more. I hate socials how they kill our dopamine system, have been on dopamine fasting for 50 days and it was amazing But now I want to grow Numo and help people like we, so need to find balance and not get into dopamine trap It is so hard

Just be authentic, I guess it's the best, filtered by what you want to keep private

Ok, I just discovered a new Insta account and it made me think of what I like in social media accounts and what could help you build your own : I love accounts using infographics, to help me view things from another perspective, or visualize things that are difficult to grasp otherwise. If it can help you see what I mean, the account I was scrolling through when I thought of this was forkranger (about climate change, not ADHD) ; and another account that came to mind just now is the_mini_adhd_coach because her little drawings also help understand situations and difficulties related to ADHD. Hope that helps ! (Or at least, makes you discover enjoyable social media accounts)
