What if?

What if no one was watching and you found $25,000, would you submit it to authorities or would you keep it? why? im curious of your responses to this simple ethical dilema

I’d try to return it first and foremost. However $25k in cash would make me think… drug money? I wouldn’t get on the bad side of that person!

Find who dropped it but if no ID I’d probably donate some and then help the community out

If it's lost in a wallet or bag, try to find an owner and return. If there's only money, then keep. I'll never found the owner and I'm not sure the authorities would either.

I would give half if to charity and hope the person who dropped it gets some sort of blessings from it and keep the rest

Keep. If I figure out who dropped it I might give it back, but there’s no way I’d hand that money over to cops.

Depends where it happened I mean if in the country where police and authorities got the high level of trust and low corruption — no probs giving in back Otherwise I’ll keep it as I’m pretty sure they will steal it for themselves

In this economy… haha! I’d keep it, the authorities aren’t just gonna somehow trace back the person who earned that money. I’ll make sure to invest it or use it towards getting a house.
