as soon as you take your clothes off put it right away in your laundry basket immediately. And any mess or spills you make clean right away and in 4 days wash all bed sheets and pillows!!! Sweep everyday and if you have rugs vacuum.

I don’t know what helps for you, but what has helped extremely much for me was to change cleaning from being a big weekly task to a daily, shorter task. 30 or 60 minutes daily depending on my energy levels, instead of 4-5 hours of high intensity cleaning all in 1 day. Daily tasks become more routine, easier to remember and get motivated for than a once in a while task.
