RSD

How do you all deal with the pain of RSD when it feels like a hot knife cutting to core or a complete vacuum of emptiness inside you?

Hey I know I’m late with this but wanted to say that meditation has really made the biggest difference for me with this 💖🌈.

I have learned that verbal processing helps me a lot. Rather than being stuck in my head reviving the moment or checked out. Listening to my thoughts makes me reflect on the situation. I usually use my spouse for that, and tell him what I need from him (just listen, i need you to acknowledge my feelings, etc)

I cry to a friend or exercise. Sometimes I will create but that could frustrate me so I’ll clean. I’ll also do a whole self care routine. Remind myself of my worth and that I’m experiencing a neurodivergent exaggeration of an emotion.

When I’m feeling this way I tend to dwell on it and over think it which makes it worse. What I have found helps is find something sim really good at and really passionate about and hyper-fixate on it for a few hours before I know it I’m annoyed by my fixation but have got over the RSD
