How do you guys manage to clean out cups and stuff out of your room. It is a little disgusting but I frequently have cups sometimes even still with liquid in it sitting on my desk for days, and it’s just disgusting. Do you have any tips on how to manage getting stuff out of your room / generally being more clean and organised when it comes to bedrooms?

I do the FlyLady thing and have an IKEA basket that I use for transporting things upstairs or downstairs. Plus I love the absence of visual clutter so much that it’s better for my brain to have everything in the right room at least. Otherwise I would never find anything, including my family members! FlyLady also has ways to portion out cleaning - and she has a no guilt, no shame approach to doing anything. She calls it “Blessing Your House” because you’re doing it for you.
i do this too ! i’ve started using disposable cups or reusing fast food cups so i can just throw it away and not put off cleaning them. I try to keep cups in sight- usually on a surface near the exit of my room so i’m reminded when i’m leaving to carry one down with me. I also keep a large cup within sight that reminds me to dump out the rest of the liquids. i can condense all the extra liquids in that cup and dump it all out at once. and then the task of carrying them all to the kitchen and cleaning or down feels less daunting.
Every now and then I buy myself a new water bottle or straw cup and I just become obsessed with it for a while and won't use anything else, it keeps me from hoarding water glasses. That or just put all of your cups away like in a box and only allow yourself one cup.
