Try to look at your “next right thing” what’s the one small next step? One thing at a time. Breaking down the bigger things before you, into tiny steps to help you start the thing.

Write it down. Overwhelmed comes from all the thoughts in our head competing for first place. Picture it like clouds and in each cloud as a thought a task or whatever. When you take it out of the cloud and put it on paper that cloud up there disappears and it freezes up space to actually think. Once you write things down on paper, you’re able to see it differently and prioritize much more easily. It’s easier to decide what comes first second third etc.. when you’re in your head they’re all equally competing to be first, hence overwhelm.
