How did I get here?

It’s so frustrating not being the me I e always known. The me that got things multiple things, done and early even .I’m 42 yrs old and have a son with adhd but never had the symptoms myself until a couple yrs ago . I worked two full time jobs and did the 1950’s trophy housewife thing like a BOSS! Well, that’s all gone now… I can’t accomplish one single thing in a timely manner and I almost always mess it up…my memory is awful and I’m even developed some type of dyslexia….enough to make a person cry…

Hi, I hear you! If it's got unmanageable recently, I imagine hormones ate exacerbating things. When estrogen dips, it impacts dopamine receptors too. Could you be hitting perimenopause. It can start as earlier as 35 and go on for 10 yrs even! Doh! Like we haven't been coping with enough, right?! Good luck and hang in there xxx
