Also, NUMO, if you're checking this post out, please make bigger rewards for bigger ackompliments or something exciting to unlock at much higher levels. Those things haven't changed and aren't helping me anymore since I'm so far up there, lol. But, yeah, after reading more of the other comments on here, it sounds like others have had better luck with an active tribe than me. It is a useful feature when used
I have been using jt for 2 1/2 months and it took me a bit to figure how to best use it for me to be most effective. Just my trial and error and trying long lists, short lists, etc, and trying out all the features. I absolutely think it's worth it. And I am easily more productive enough to cover the cost of it and more. And what's even better? Not **constantly** stressing that I'm forgetting everything or not doing the right things in the most important order anymore. Absolutely recommend Also, don't forget it's a newer app and you can even still send your ideas to the development crew. It took a few days for them to get back to me, but I sent something in. Also the readings they have, specifically on procrastination, have actually improved my time management too. The feature that helps me the least is actually the "tribe" which is a shame, it could be really cool. I hope they figure out how to make it more engaging in the future, and/or I'm hoping my friends will join me here, one is today. Oh, and the instant gratification/reward stuff, like even just the vibration and glitter for checking something off? So helpful. It's silly how much that helps! My main problem is ADHD, and all those little dopamine boosts help.
I think for me it’s more about the post and comment section. I get encouraged when I know that others are facing the same struggles I am but may have different ways of working through them. I’m not concerned about points or squads and the videos are somewhat helpful. I haven’t tried the noise generator or task/to-do list either. So far I’m satisfied with the post and comment function. But you bring up a good point about the monthly fee. I’ve noticed that there are not much Ads on the app which I very much appreciate and I hope it’s kept that way. Also it seems to me that the community is very supportive and encouraging as well. I think for me if those two things change that would be my indicator it’s time to go.
I'm waiting for a few bugs to be sorted before I decide. Having real issues with the prioritising tasks and things being in a weird order like my 2pm meds being at the top of the list over my morning meds and tasks. I emailed them to ask if this was going to be fixed and they sent me a month free trial which I'm on now so still deciding myself (as that's not fixed yet)
I’m also wondering the same. Is there any other apps that are free or more affordable? I’m on disability and my budget is squeaky tight so it’s hard for me to get things like this. I’m enjoying it but my trial is ending in two days. I like the chat rooms? They are packed with other situations and what people have experienced in turn helps me with my issues.
