If I'm in ADHD paralysis and need to clean my house, I put phone in my little tripod, and record my self cleaning in hyperlapse. It keeps me accountable, and the best thing at the end is being able to watch my house go from messy to clean within minutes. I call it body doubling by myself.

THIS IS SO TRUE I ME AND MY GIRL FRIEND WERE CLEANING OUR ROOMS AND WE WANTED TO TIME LAPSE AND I NOTICED DOING TIME LAPSE MADE ME MORE MOTIVATED
I keep my shoes on when I need to clean as I find I turn into a potato much faster when I don’t have my shoes on.
I call a friend that knows how bad my adhd is and ask her to call me sometime or text me that she is coming over, but then she really doesn’t come over.

Love this idea! My husband will come home from a day at the office and ask what I did that day and often times I feel like I have a hard time explaining how much cleaning I did so this seems like a good way to show him how long it takes to clean!

Yeees I do this too and it works SO WELL! The trick is to make sure you have enough time to get to completion so it's satisfying!

Oh yeah, I think it’s the best way to overcome being stuck! Used this hack in the past, and need to do it again soon:)
