I feel terribly anxious about drawing my boundaries

I just wrote a message to my ex husband that explains an absolutely adequate boundary I need to put. We are trying to re-launch the relationship between us and I know I'm doing a right thing explaining what behaviour is not ok for me but this feeling of waiting for his reaction is soooo stressful

This is a normal reaction, but I would consider working through that natural “dread” you’re experiencing because it may be a trauma response (maybe not as a result of your prior relationship, but from a childhood experience), and unaddressed trauma has a nasty way of catching back up us if we don’t face it.

No need to feel so nervous about it 🙌 only people who respect our boundaries can make us happy.

I think this is very normal reaction to be anxious about it. Especially if you are afraid of him rejecting it
