Diagnosis

I finally got an appointment for my adhd diagnosis in two weeks. It’s been a long journey of depression and anxiety for me. And like most adhd people i heard scentences like „stop being to Slow/chaotic /emotional,…“ my hole Life. This lead to very low self esteem. I ask myself all the time which symptoms i should mention and wich i should not say because everyone has that and she might think i am an imposter. Any tips?

Get people that know you family, work, school friends. When I went he asked if I was hyperactive when I was young, I said no, I was really shy and quiet, then he read out some the things my sister wrote and I may have got it wrong 😂

Tell them everything. It will help with your diagnosis, the medication and therapy to help you live a healthy, successful and fulfilling life. Your doctor will not think your an imposter, they are here to help you, that is what they will do.
