Todays hack👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Brushing your teeth for 30 seconds is better than not at all🦷

So true. Anything worth doing is worth doing poorly, at first.

My grandmother use to say that even if all you’re doing is scrubbing your teeth with a dry toothbrush to get the barnacles off it’s better than nothing. So when I’m feeling down and it’s hard to do self care I try to remind myself to de-barnacle at the very least. And it’s helped a lot with my oral hygiene.

I read this advice somewhere and it gets me through some very difficult days: “if it’s worth doing at all, it’s at least worth doing half assed.”

this has been a big thing for me with the depression combo, i read that even just brushing w no toothpaste is worth it. i think it’s just a sensory overload for me, i had to switch to kids strawberry toothpaste bc i realized i hate the taste and feeling of mint so much. whatever helps to get the thing done!

I struggle to remember to brush my teeth and it's bad as I hate not doing it but at the same time I get distracted by the things I hyperfocus on the most and by that point I need to go to bed or when I wake up I lay in bed and snooze my alarms twice then realise that I have to leave for work then I have a massive panic rush phase and forget to do it 😔
