Meal planning

How do you do it, stick to it and organize it all?!? Things are so expensive I feel it would really help my family!

Check out this fridge magnet from Amazon: Lemons Weekly Magnetic Meal Planning Pad for Fridge with Tear-Off 50 Sheets Grocery Shopping List Food Menu Organizer Notepad Magnets 6"x 9" https://a.co/d/2LjamBP It has a detachable grocery list. I disregard the days of the week, and just pick whatever I'm feeling that day. I always keep 2 days for leftovers to prevent feeling too overwhelmed to cook everyday. I write the name of the recipe along with the book it came from, and page number to find it easy. I also got sick of having to figure out what to eat, so I wrote down my recipes on popsicle sticks along with book, and page number. Then I pick sticks until I have 5 I want. If I'm in an I no food sounds good mood, I just write down the first 5.

I also have that same problem and now my teenage daughter and my husband are in a strange standoff about dinner. I am ignoring it right now because it feels like other things are more on fire! 🔥

Honesty, I have the same 2-3 stacks every day so I don't have to think about changing ingredients. Not a lot of variety happening, but nutrition is good. This is a really tough area for me! A friend recently offered to make batched meals for me... Curious what others have tried!
