I hate cleaning

When I say I hate cleaning, I mean all of it lmao the littlest thing to clean can seem like a mountain to me. I’ve been trying to keep up with cleaning the house, but it’s so hard when I’m distracted all the time. What about you? Are you the same?

I did discover that I especially don’t like cleaning when I don’t have a routine and material I like. For example, when I am cleaning the toilet and I have to do it with a bucket with water and a cloth, it just feels like I am spreading all the germs + I don’t like to have my hands wet. But if I can use paper towels and a spray bottle, it is do-able and not that worse at all!

When it’s messy enough I don’t want anyone to see it, yes I hate cleaning. When my home is clean and the dishes are only what was used today, the counters need wiped, a quick sweep- I love cleaning. If I can do it all in less than 30 minutes I love it. Any longer I’d rather hide under the bed and cry. And just doing only 30 minutes of a 1.5 hour clean job ain’t appeasing to me, at that point, either.

I can do basic cleaning but deep cleaning turns into reorganizing then I get bored and have a bigger mess

I don’t mind cleaning as long as it’s like “keeping up” cleaning. If it gets beyond that I get too overwhelmed and don’t know where to start. Or somehow ending up making more of a mess lol then I give up.

I used to hate cleaning too — my laundry lived in the dryer and I dressed like a productivity raccoon. Back then I told myself it wasn’t worth “interrupting” my procrastination. Classic. Now? It’s my weird little offline reset. Still a workaholic, still overthinking everything — but hey, at least my sink’s clean. You’re not alone in this chaos.

Totally get it. Even the smallest tasks can feel like too much. Just starting is the hardest part — but you’re doing it. Step by step

I just have to straighten up the house, but it’s the littlest things that makes me procrastinate lol I’m trying my best to just get started
